Mane In Heaven does not discriminate in its recipients of services on the basis of a person’s race, political orientation, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, or mental or physical disability or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
Our miniature therapy horses visit hospitals, retirement communities, skilled nursing care facilities, schools, libraries, veteran facilities, promotional events and others in need. Activity and therapy visits evoke emotional, spiritual, and physical connections. Mane In Heaven’s programming provides an opportunity for participants to visit, pet, hug, groom, walk, and make memorable connections with our therapy horses.
Mane in Heaven is a volunteer based organization, volunteers train and work with our miniature therapy horses several days per week. Training includes de-sensitizing the horses to noises, and situations they would encounter at the various facilities we visit.
Mane In Heaven does not charge for visits and relies solely on donations, sponsorship’s, fundraising, and grants to sustain the organization.
