OUR MISSION
Mane in Heaven is dedicated to bringing comfort, connection and joy through compassionate equine-assisted therapy and activities. At the heart of our mission is the belief that miniature therapy horses can create powerful moments of healing, inclusion and emotional wellbeing for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Programs
Our programs provide education, connection, and engagement with Mane In Heaven Miniature Therapy Horses. We serve a variety of people of all different abilities and ages providing time to pet, hug, groom, walk, and make memorable connections with our therapy horses. Studies have shown that animal-assisted activities and therapy visits provide physical, mental and emotional fulfillment.
Volunteering
Our volunteers are all trained and certified to adhere to safe and compassionate procedures in the care and work with our minis. Training for our volunteers helps to ensure an optimal visit outcome for our friends with special needs, devices, requests or interaction modifications based on physical limitations.
Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization and is a 100 percent volunteer-run organization. Our volunteer team consists of all ages who possess skill and experience with horses or business operations.
Donate
Your donations are necessary to help us continue our mission of “bringing a little heaven to those in need” with our miniature therapy horses. Mane In Heaven would like to express our appreciation for your continued support of our 501(c)(3) non-profit all-volunteer organization. Without generous charitable donations, Mane In Heaven would not be able to fulfill the mission of maintaining or training our miniature therapy horses and providing visits. We are funded solely by people who believe in the therapeutic benefits of animal-assisted activity and therapy visits, people like YOU!
